Sage Memorial Hospital
Healthcare Signage and Wayfinding
Sage Memorial Hospital is the primary healthcare provider for Navajo Nation communities in northeastern Arizona. Operated by the Navajo Health Foundation, it is recognized as the nation’s first Native-managed comprehensive healthcare system. The hospital serves a large rural and tribal population and provides emergency care, inpatient services, specialty clinics, outpatient care, behavioral health, pharmacy, imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, and medical office services.
Century Sign Builders provided the design development, fabrication, and installation of the complete signage and wayfinding program for the new Sage Memorial Hospital campus in Ganado, Arizona. The project included illuminated monument signage with an electronic message center, exterior directional signs, building identification, illuminated channel letters, ADA-compliant interior room identification, departmental identification, suspended directional signs, floor directories, physician office signage, and a comprehensive campus-wide wayfinding system. The signage program established a cohesive branded environment that supports patient navigation while reflecting the mission and identity of the Navajo Health Foundation.
