UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center, Albuquerque, NM

The design concept for signage was developed around the architectural  theme of the Cancer Research & Treatment Center.

The following Elemental Components of the architectural theme were combined to create a relaxed, natural and calming environment for the cancer patients:

Natural - using natural light, materials (wood, stone, metal),  glass walls that allow the natural outdoor environment inside, colors that mimic the native vegetation, water features creating a zen-like atmosphere

Spacious - using open, free-flowing, uncluttered spatial relationships

Warm - combining architectural elements and materials to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
