National Hispanic Cultural Center
This national treasure has several buildings on a campus of several acres. Each building needed exterior signage. In addition, each building had a sponsor that needed to be recognized. Century Sign Builders worked closely with the interior designer, the architect and the owner to design a sign package that blended well with the southwest design and the building materials. The primary exterior wayfinding material used was faux composite resin “sandstone”. The text is sandblasted into the “stone”, paint filled, and put in frames or directly on the interior walls. The monument sign for the restaurant (La Fonda) is real stone. The logo was sandblasted and paint filled into the stone.
