Jewish Community Center

The members of the Jewish Community Center, of Albuquerque, NM, gave generously to create a place in their community that they could all be proud of. To acknowledge the individuals and businesses that gave so generously the JCC hired Century Sign Builders to create a monumental donor recognition piece.

The Arches of Honor is a massive (94”x 235”) modular donor recognition wall recognizing up to 240 people for their contributions to the JCC. The guiding principle of the modular design is one that allows for donors to advance through different levels of giving ranging from $1800 to 2,000,000+. The vertical aluminum supports are actually a rail system that allow existing and new name plates to be moved and added without the need for a professional installation team. The nameplates themselves are laser cut 3/8” acrylic waves with names in reverse applied vinyl. The large background panel is made from 5 sheets of 3-Form Areo, which has a tiny grid pattern to it which causes an optical illusion of a moray pattern as you walk around the piece. The background is finished with dimensional lettering in both cut acrylic and cast aluminum.

Our final design has provided the Jewish Community Center with a stunning means of recognizing the generosity of their community both now and for years to come.
